Dear IGOR Member,
The International Guild of Realism had a wonderful weekend celebrating the opening of our 8th Annual Exhibition at the beautiful Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona. We enjoyed several events over a three day period with over 35 IGOR artists in attendance. The weather was sunny everyday and all events turned out as planned. The quality of the show was absolutely incredible and without a doubt, another astounding IGOR Annual Exhibition. The Tempe Center for the Arts was equally as thrilled with the quality of the show and they were grateful that so many IGOR artists attended the opening events. The show is up and running through November 30 and we have had several sales so far. Unlike a typical gallery show that lasts only two or three weeks, we still have two months of exhibition time so we have plenty of opportunity for additional sales.
IGOR 2013 VIDEO INTERNATIONAL GUILD OF REALISM - 8th Annual Exhibition Publicity about our event was widely covered by local as well as national publications. Plus, as you already know, we had over 12 pages of publicity articles and ads in the American Art Collector magazine. Also, we had an excellent editorial and one full page Ad in SW Art magazine. Congratulations to all of the award winners! The judges were so impressed that it took hours to complete all of the awards. This year, IGOR gave out 14 awards and the list is below.
